About Me: My teaching method has always been to focus on strength, mobility and functional movement. I believe that improving your strength can have an amazing effect on your physical and mental health. I have been teaching group fitness for over 10 years. I have certifications in Kettlebell AMPD, AMPD Resistance, Barre Burn, Power Flow, AMPD Strength and Strong Nation. My specialization is in strength training and high intensity interval training. In my 20s I was lucky enough to start taking a group fitness class from an instructor that really pushed me and made me love movement.

Since then, I have acquired different certifications as I am always trying to learn new modalities and improve on others. I am passionate about fitness and movement because I want to inspire others to feel like they have achieved something greater than they ever thought they could. I used to be a shy person who never thought I could be in front of a group of people speaking let alone teaching a class. This goes to show that you can achieve even the things you thought you could never ever do. I started teaching students and staff at Texas A&M University San Antonio recreational center and taught people of all ages and demographics for 6 years.

After that I realized that I wanted more of a community setting where I could better connect with others and then worked with private studios for the next five years. As I make my move from San Antonio to Fredericksburg, I am eager to teach in a more intimate setting where I can really connect with the community. Through my fitness experiences I have found that not only has fitness helped me be my healthiest in past struggles with asthma, but it also helped me tackle stress and anxiety that once made things so difficult for me. My goal is to make fitness fun and engaging by bringing music to the workout. I love to push people to achieve their goals in the healthiest and most fulfilling way possible.
